We are so excited that you will be joining us for our wedding!

We have included a few pieces of useful information on this website, but do let us know if you need any help at all organizing your trip!
For those of you that are planning to arrive on the Friday we will have an informal dinner at local farm "L'Ischieto" starting at 7pm (Please be at the castle by 6pm if you would like transports to the venue)  whilst the ceremony and reception will take place on Saturday at the castle from 4:30pm onwards. The rest of the time on your trip can be spent wine tasting, cheese sampling, sightseeing or just chilling by the pool enjoying the castle life (it's all ours for the entire weekend!)

Getting there

The nearest railway station is Asciano at 5 Km, while the airport of Florence is 90km away and Rome is 250km away (there are lots of car rental options at the airport, we would recommend renting at Hertz right at the Airport).

By car take the A1 autostrada Firenze-Roma and exit at Valdichiana.Turn right to the Siena-Bettolle higway towards Siena and exit at Serre di Rapolano. Drive ahead to the city centre, park the car next to the castle.

Please do let us know if you have any questions, we would love to help you plan your trip.

Where to stay

We have reserved the castle for the entire weekend and all the wedding guests are free to use its premises and facilities (pool, gardens, spa)...
…and there are many very nice places to stay in the medieval town that surrounds the castle, all at a walking distance:
Palazzo Bizzarrri
Antico Granaione
Antica Casa i succinelli
Borghetto il Montino

Things to do

Our local expert and wedding organizer Mascia has put together a list of amazing things to do during your stay in Tuscany that you can find here so feel free to organize directly through her and for any other inquiry please contact her at info@happening.it or +393394794968.

Your gift of attending our wedding is already so precious to us and many of you are travelling from far away to come and celebrate with us. We don't have a registry but if you would like to give us a gift we would love for you to donate to an amazing organization dear to us.

For many years, Bronwyn (Sister of the Bride!) has been working for Save the Children, an amazing organization that we hear first hand how incredibly impactful they are in helping children all over the world. We have picked one emergency, the Ethiopian Food Crisis, that is currently not receiving the media attention it deserves. We would wish that your support will go beyond this occasion and that all our closest friends and relatives would sustain Save the Children in the years to come.
